Ela Thier Films

I create films that help people laugh and cry, that remind us that we care about each other, and that we long to show our caring.

My goal is to do my part, as an artist, in moving us towards societies governed by caring and foresight, rather than greed.

Since 2006, I’ve been building The Independent Film School, now home to over 60,000 artists who share in this mission. Turns out everyone enjoys doing their part in creating the kind of world we want to live in.
